Warranty
When used as recommended, in
a closed hot water heating system, Runtal radiators
carry a five-year (from the date of first operation,
OR from six months after the date of shipment,
whichever comes first) LIMITED WARRANTY covering
defects in original manufacture.
If such a defect is
suspected, Runtal North America, Inc. must be
immediately notified by Registered Mail. The existence
of such a warranted defect shall be determined solely by
Runtal North America, Inc., or by its authorized
representative.
Runtal North America, Inc.
may, at its election, determine to repair or replace the
radiator (NO REMOVAL, SHIPPING, OR INSTALLATION
EXPENSES ARE REIMBURSABLE).
NO OTHER WARRANTY,
EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, EXISTS FOR RUNTAL RADIATORS.
INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARE EXCLUDED
(EXCEPT IN STATES OR PROVINCES WHERE THIS EXCLUSION IS
NOT PERMITTED) FOR ANY BREACH OF ANY EXPRESSED OR
IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY.
This warranty is null and
void if the product was improperly installed, or
operated incorrectly.
Runtal is NOT
responsible for the effects of water quality, or any
additives placed in the heating system. This warranty
does NOT cover damage caused by oxygen corrosion
in the heating system.
